With a UF-FT, consisting of UF mounted field sprayer and FT front tank, Amazone is offering technology that can increase the capacity of the UF mounted field sprayers up to 2,800 litres. This new system is a particularly interesting proposition for smaller mixed and arable farms, and also for agricultural contractors and vegetable farms operating in regions with small fields. The UF-FT technology combines the liquid circuits of both tanks into one user-friendly unit that satisfies all EU guidelines for mounted field sprayers in every respect.
Thanks to the Flow-Control fill level management between UF and FT, optimum continuous homogenisation of the spray liquid between both tanks is ensured. Full direct integration of the spray liquid filling, agitating, application and cleaning operations into one circuit with automatic control via the Amatron from the cab are all part of the UF-FT concept.
As the provider of the only automated front tank system in the world, Amazone has also found a solution for cleaning front tank systems. The amount of clean water (10% of the tank volume) prescribed by EU guidelines is achieved with every UF-FT. The 100-litre auxiliary clean water tank is mounted between the lower links of the tractor, in a position that is particularly favourable in terms of its centre of gravity. As the amount of additional residue in the front tank is extremely low, this makes it easy to clean the tank effectively and correctly in the field.
The UF-FT is extremely convenient to clean: both tanks, agitators and spray lines are cleaned in the field via the Amatron operator control terminal without having to dismount from the tractor. The automatic rinsing sequence with Flow-Control and Comfort package guarantees the operator a residue-free machine.
The cleaning operation can be conveniently remotely controlled and monitored from the cab which makes it extremely easy for the operator to carry out the cleaning in the field as soon as spraying is complete. This virtually eliminates the risk of leftover spray agent accumulating in the system and a concentrated discharge on the sprayed surfaces.
The requirements of good professional practice and cross-compliance agreements are therefore comprehensively and conveniently satisfied with a UF-FT.
