Dealers will have direct access to the Storti factory in Italy for whole goods, spare parts and service.
Following a period of market research Storti will take the direct approach, mirroring the success achieved in other European countries.
Graham Thompson has been appointed as Storti’s agent in the UK and is at present embarking on an intensive campaign to appoint strategic dealers.
Several existing Storti dealers will continue their successful relationship with the Italian company.
With this venture comes an expansion of the Storti range of products available to UK farmers. These include: vertical diet feeders (four model ranges from 8-46 cubic metres); horizontal Diet Feeders (two model ranges from 5-19 cubic metres; self-propelled vertical diet feeders (three model ranges from 13-28 cubic metres); self-propelled horizontal diet feeders (two model ranges from 12-20 cubic metres).
The diet feeders are supplied with a wide range of options including sophisticated electronic weighing and menu equipment, and data transfer management those customers that require this facility.
Also available are two models of straw bedding machines and a range of telescopic handlers featuring six models from a 2.5t/6.0m machine to a 7.0t/10m unit.
Storti works closely with Dieci, which builds its telehandler range. |
Storti is one of Europe’s major manufacturers of diet feeders exporting machines to all parts of the world, with strong market presence in most countries within the EC.
Design, development and manufacturing are carried out at Storti’s state-of-the-art factory at Belfiore, Northern Italy (near Verona), producing in excess of 1,000 machines each year, including more than 100 self-propelled machines.
“Storti is focussing on one of the major western European markets with a strong commitment, the right strategy and plan, and, of course, with one of the widest range of machines in order to be able to reach many different customer requirements,” Storti’s export sales manager, Andrea Fredonni, said.“Our range today includes diet feeders, straw blowers and a complete set of telehandlers, but in the near future new projects will be announced as we aim to become a special partner for our dealers and final clients offering the best solution for the future of agriculture.”
