Italian tractor manufacturer Same Deutz-Fahr has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with current MotoGP champion Casey Stoner.
The Australian rider, who won the World MotoGP Championship riding a Ducati in 2007 and took the same title again last year on a Honda, has a farming background and despite his many commitments spends at least a month each year on his family’s 3,000-acre cattle farm.
Casey Stoner has chosen a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV 610 tractor to be used on the farm. The 165hp model features a CVT ransmission and is an efficient, versatile and reliable machine that ensures excellent performances in all circumstances and conditions.
“Our farm has been in the family for many generations,” Casey Stoner said. “I have been brought up in the countryside and have developed a passion for agriculture; one that remains as strong as ever and has led me to really appreciate Same Deutz-Fahr and its products.
“I am proud to have embarked on this collaboration, both for the benefit of my career as a rider and my love of farming.”
The agreement signed between the Treviglio-based firm and Casey Stoner means that he can be featured in marketing material and advertising campaigns developed by Deutz-Fahr the next two years.
