The assets of former South-west Wales John Deere dealer LAS Agric are to be sold by online auction with lots ending from September 14, 2012.
The company, which was based at Narbeth, ceased trading and closed its doors on July 13, 2012. The Tallis Amos Group started operating from the same premises on July 23, but it’s understood that the company is only using part of the depot and has not taken over any of the former dealer’s stock.
It’s believed that the company is now undergoing a voluntary liquidation to recover funds for creditors. The Cardiff branch of Deloitte LLP has been appointed to handle the company’s affairs and has arranged for online auctioneer GoIndustry DoveBid to hold an online auction of assets.
Preliminary information on the sale is already available on the company’s website and there will be about 80 lots in total including tractors, implements and ATVs. Bidding will begin from September 3, 2012.
