With the new Top 972C s-line, Pöttinger has developed a double windrower with central swath placement that offers plenty of space for the swath. A rotor lifting system with the axle inside the arc of the rotor (steered axle), ensures a ground clearance of about 60cm. This means approximately 30% higher clearance than any other equipment currently available on the market.
The rotors are lifted upwards at an angle to the rear to guarantee sufficient swath clearance at the headland. This enables harvesting machinery in the next pass to achieve higher performance because the swaths are intact and can be picked up more efficiently.
