The smallest models in the Valtra T Series have now been updated to meet the latest Stage IIIB emissions regulations.
The line-up of T Series SCR models has now been expanded to include the T133 and T153 models powered by the 6.6-litre Agco Sisu Power engine, plus the T163, T173 and T193 models powered by a 7.4-litre engine. The T163 model features an EcoPower switch that allows the driver to select between Eco and Power modes.
Agco e3 SCR engine technology reduces fuel consumption by approximately 5-10 per cent. In addition, the particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced to a fraction compared to previous technology. Tractor users also benefit from the fact that SCR technology reduces the need for engine cooling and keeps the lubrication oil cleaner, thus extending engine life.
Valtra has years of experience with SCR technology. The Valtra S Series introduced in 2008 was the first agricultural tractor in the world to feature SCR technology. For tractor users SCR technology is simple, as electronics take care of the system. The driver’s only task is to fill the AdBlue tank.
The new tractor models offer even more power and torque. With new software and a revised transmission design, both the stepless and powershift models provide optimal performance in all conditions.
Valtra’s latest T Series tractors offer from 162-208hp. |
In addition to new engine technology, the third generation T3 Series of Versu and Direct tractors comes with many other new features. The patented Valtra Arm driver’s armrest now has a colour display with separate daytime and night settings. The joystick on the armrest can now be used to control the front or rear hydraulics, or both. In addition, it is now possible to change the settings of the U-Pilot Headland Management System and cruise control more precisely and even when the tractor is stationary. The PTO and four-wheel-drive switches are now also on the armrest.
The new T Series is available Auto-Steering ready from the factory, while a complete System 150 Auto-Steering package with an accuracy of just a few centimetres is also available.
The factory-fitted Agcommand is a vehicle-tracking and data recording tool that monitors tractor location, operation and efficiency. Agcommand equipped tractors can be monitored over the internet by the tractor owner or service dealer.
