The new Agrotron L720 is the latest addition to the Deutz-Fahr tractor family in the 200hp+ range.
Designed and developed to handle heavy-duty jobs where power and traction are required, this new tractor supplies high performance in even the most extreme conditions.
The Agrotron L720 is a tractor with a generous number of advanced features. First and foremost, there is the new electronically managed Deutz Tier 3 common-rail engine that is 100% compatible with the use of bio-diesel.
This seven-litre engine pumps out 220hp and does it efficiently with superb fuel economy – a classic example of Deutz excellence in engine design.
In the transmission department, a powershift gearbox provides three ranges and nine gears to transfer power from the engine to the ground with the utmost efficiency. The Agrotron L720 is also equipped with the Dynamic Rear Proportioning system for added traction when working in extreme conditions.
The sequential gearshift is push-button operated, while the Automatic Powershift function is used to automatically select the best, most-efficient gear depending on load conditions and engine speed.
Other innovative features include the factory-fitted power shuttle, and the Sequential Drive System, which stores the settings in order to make repetitive tasks easier. Rear lift capacity is rated at 10,000kg.
The new Agrotron L 720 is also unique from a safety and comfort viewpoint. Safety is ensured through use of automotive-concept braking that employs a servo system to achieve positive, powerful braking at the slightest depression of the pedal and, for safe parking of the tractor on sloping ground, the new Electronic Park Brake is provided.
In the cab the operator can enjoy a high degree of comfort; it is equipped with pneumatic, self-leveling suspension and one of the best soundproofing systems in the industry.
