The Landini PowerMondial made its UK debut at Lamma 2009 as a new premium option in the 100hp class for livestock and arable farmers.
At 110hp, the PowerMondial 115 is Landini’s most powerful four-cylinder tractor. It will be joined by another two versions with power outputs of 92hp and 102hp.
“The PowerMondial represents a step up from the established Vision (92hp and 98hp) and bridges the gap to the six-cylinder Landpower range, which starts at 117hp,” said Landini UK sales manager Adrian Winnett. “We’re planning to offer the high-spec Top version, which comes with the features and cab design to match anything in the same class.”
The new tractor is powered by the renowned Perkins 1104-44 series engine with simple mechanical fuel injection. This drives through a new power shuttle creep transmission, which for the first time on a Landini features a three-speed powershift and inboard epicyclic reduction rear axles.
The premium specification of the PowerMondial is further underlined by the MasterClass cab, a more spacious four-post design previously reserved for Landini’s six-cylinder PowerMax and PowerMaster tractors.
The four-post design not only provides more spacious driver accommodation and storage; it also gives the operator a clear view to either side thanks to the lack of B pillars and a light and airy working environment enhanced by Landini’s trademark feature – a cab roof window fitted as standard.
Auto climate-control air conditioning, an upholstered ‘passenger’ seat and electronic control of the three-point linkage is all part of the package, along with a heavy-duty push-back pick-up hitch and 5,650kg rear linkage to match the new tractor’s capabilities.
“The PowerMondial is for someone who a lively tractor around the 100hp mark with a good level of equipment and a comfortable workplace,” added Mr Winnett. “I think anyone who comes to have a look at the tractor at LAMMA will come away impressed.”
The PowerMondial makes its debut alongside Landini’s established range of Compact, Mistral, PowerFarm, Vision, LandPower, PowerMax and PowerMaster models spanning 28-230hp.
