McConnel’s new PT pasture toppers have been designed to deliver on performance, reliability and value for money.
Built with farmers in mind, the new machines come in two different working widths: the 1.8m wide PT180 and the 2.7m PT270.
The three-point linkage mounted toppers only need a minimum 35hp, and the smaller of the two machines has one rotor blade, while the larger machine has two.
Free-swinging blade alignment is used to reduce shock loads on the gearbox, while a streamlined design prevents debris build-up and water trapping. The cutting height is easily adjusted on both machines.
A deep cranked blade arrangement also helps protect the gearbox, while parabolic skids reduce ground marking for a better finish.
Launch prices for the new toppers are £2,000 for the PT180 and £2,850 for the PT270.
