Zetor: Proxima tractors upgraded for 2011

Zetor has given its Proxima tractor range a series of upgrades for 2011 including a new hydraulic system for all models.
The new tractors in the six-strong range can be identified by revised model numbers that now run from 70 to 120 rather than 65 to 115.
The latest range includes four standard Zetor Proxima models, the 65hp 70; the 77hp 80; the 87hp 90; and the 96hp 100. As standard, these models will be supplied with a 30km/hr, 12×12 synchromesh shuttle transmission. A 540/1,000rpm is also standard on these tractors, with 540/540e available as an option.
The three Zetor Proxima Plus models are now the 87hp 90; the 96hp 100; and the 107hp 110. The standard transmission on these tractors is 16×16 two-stage powershift, along with a 540/1,000rpm PTO.
In the Zetor Proxima Power line-up there are four models: the 87hp 90; the 96hp 100; the 107hp 110; and the 117hp 120. Getting the power to the wheels this time is a 24×24 three-stage powershift transmission.

The most obvious external change to the tractors, apart from the updated model numbers if a completely new hydraulic system for the rear linkage. Instead of an internal lift ram, the three-point linkage – supplied by Italian manufacturer Mita – now uses two external rams and new hydraulic control levers in the cab for more precise control. The linkage features top-link sensing and the lift capacity has been increased to 4,200kg across the entire range.

Staying with the hydraulic system, the 70 and 80 models now come with two remote valves as standard, while the 90, 100, 110 and 120 have three straight from the factory. The hydraulic pump has a capacity of 50 lit/min.
All the new models now feature a digital dashboard, while their cabs have heated rear window and side mirrors.

The new Zetor Proxima Power 110 offers 107hp and a 24×24 power shuttle and powershift transmission.

 The standard Proxima tractors are available in both two- and four-wheel drive, while the Proxima Plus and Proxima Power models are four-wheel drive only.
