Spaldings has introduced an Auto Dosing System that’stailored to fit perfectly with the firm’s 12–volt Broadcaster. This means there’s no more worrying about maintaining an exact speed in order to obtain a perfect spread as GPS speed sensing will automatically adjust the system to achieve this.
The Auto Dosing System comes with a digital in-cab control with easy set-up and operations. With the choice of different speeds and application rates productivity can be improved as the system allows operators to match their speed with the ground conditions.
After the application rate has been selected the system will automatically adjust the application rate to match the forward speed of the vehicle. Using the GPS sensor it can accurately map your speed reducing your input costs by ensuring consistency of application rates.
“The Auto Dosing System takes the effort and worry out of spreading, whether it be seeds or slug pellets,” Spaldings agricultural sales director Roger Chase said. “The unique system adapts the application rate depending on your speed ensuring even if you speed up or slow down you can still be sure of an even spread.”
The system comes attached to Spaldings 12–volt Broadcaster, which has an adjustable spread width from 2-24m and can hold up to 100 litres of material. All existing Spaldings broadcasters can also be upgraded to the Auto Dosing System.
