Spaldings has launched a versatile new 2.4m sweeper called the Push Broom. From farmyards to grain stores, the Spaldings Push Broom can sweep almost any material and creates a minimal amount of dust compared to rotary brushes. The versatile sweeper can be used for clearing water, snow, gravel, muck and slurry, mud and general debris.
“The Spaldings Push Broom is practically maintenance-free as there are no moving parts, chains, belts or motors to breakdown or replace,” Spaldings agricultural sales director Roger Chase said. “This means that the sweeper saves the user both time and money.”
The durable Spaldings Push Broom is fitted with 11 rows of bristles for maximum sweeping power in demanding applications. Welded bristle supports feature every 300mm for strength and durability with the average wear rate of the bristles exceeding 400 miles. The versatile sweeper can be mounted to forklift truck tines and most popular makes of telehandlers and tractor front end loaders.
“The sweeper is ideal for use in grain stores with undulating surfaces as it will sweep every crevice whilst avoiding damage to wooded or slatted floors,” Mr Chase added. “The Spaldings Push Broom is extremely versatile and can be used all year round and is ideal for clearing snowfall and wet surfaces such as slurry sweeping.”
