Grimme: Upgraded Maxtron harvester for 2010

The new high-performance FM300 defoliator or an advanced in-line front topper are now available for Grimme’s Maxtron 620 self-propelled sugar beet harvester. Also new for 2010 is an optional feature that allows the left-hand track to move 400mm to the outside, increases the track width and thus stability on slopes.
Especially for the black soils of Eastern Europe, a new,  efficient finger roller cleaning system has been developed. This ensures efficient separation and good cleaning in all conditions.
Reduced fuel consumption on the revised machine is based on the hydraulic system working to maximum capacity at all times using optimised operational software.
A 490hp engine is now fitted to the Maxtron 620, together with a new large Claas comfort cab and two Isobus-compatible VC80 terminals as standard features.

The new FM300 defoliator combines rubber and steel flails.
