The all-new DICKEY-john IntelliAg MVT Control System, available from Cambridgeshire-based precision farming specialist AS Communications, provides a flexible control system that can be easily expanded when needed.
The IntelliAg MVT Control System is a two-channel control system for drills and planters that allows for the application of two separate products while simultaneously monitoring up to 84 seed sensors for individual row performance and population. In addition, the system offers optional manual individual row section control and can be used as a planter population monitor only, if required.
The IntelliAg MVT monitor comes with a high-definition, 10.9cm display for easy viewing, rotary dial and combination of eight keys for easy operation and set-up. In-cab operations include programming, material selection, rate change and optional row control. Different seed monitor views such as seed multiples, population and seed skips are also available.
For application control and seed monitoring, the IntelliAg MVT Control System uses an external Planter Control Module (PCM) that mounts externally to an implement. The PCM can further be used as the main module on Isobus system to accept other member modules and to accommodate additional seed sensors for drills and planters larger than 12 rows.
