Yokohama Off-Highway Tyres’ Alliance brand has released its largest-ever tyre. The new VF750/75R46 joins the range of proven Agriflex+ 372 radial tyres for tractors and harvesters.
The new tyre is for the absolute largest tractors and machines, and challenges competitors with an economical and quality option. The tyres are recognised as leaders in the global flotation radial market, with Alliance’s VF technology delivering in terms of effective soil protection, efficiency gains and yield increases.
The Alliance Agriflex+ 372’s success was confirmed in research by Seges Innovation in 2021. The results of the field studies revealed the positive effects of Alliance’s VF tyres compared to conventional ones.
Tested on a tractor-trailer combination, the low inflation pressure of Agriflex+ 372 tyres cut the track depth during slurry application in half. At the same time, wheelslip was reduced by 4.4 per cent and measurements with a penetrometer showed lower soil compaction in the VF tyre tracks in the soil zone from 0cm to 40cm.
