Lynx Engineering has been confirmed as the sole UK importer and distributor for German manufacturer Düvelsdorf’s range of grassland, agricultural, forestry and municipal equipment. The move follows the company’s appointment as distributor for Ireland in late 2022.
The new deal will now make Düvelsdorf’s core range of grassland maintenance equipment, including rakes and rollers, as well as silage, tillage and seeding products, available through Lynx Engineering’s nationwide dealer network. Sweeping machines, transport boxes and snow-clearing implements will also be made available.
A family-owned business established more than 90 years ago, Düvelsdorf is one of Europe’s leading names in grassland technology and is currently growing its network of importers and distributors across western and northern Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, the managing director of Lynx Engineering, Nick Ewbank, said in the six months he’d been marketing and supplying Düvelsdorf products in Ireland, he’d already seen a great deal of interest reflected in a growing order book.
“The Düvelsdorf name is rightly associated with clever, well-proven design, solid build quality and excellent value for money,” he added. “As such, it offers a genuine alternative to similar machines from bigger, better-known brands.”
