Merlo has introduced its new TurboFarmer 30.7 to meet the needs of those working in confined spaces, such as traditional farmyards.

This new model is the much-anticipated successor to the ever-popular Merlo P32.6, a compact model that found favour for many years in the British livestock farming sector.

The compact overall dimensions of the 30.7, at just 2.00m wide and 2.10m high, means it can reach the places that many other handlers in its class cannot.

Despite its compact dimensions, the new TurboFarmer 30.7 packs a punch when it comes to performance. Powered by a 100hp Deutz TCD four-cylinder Stage V diesel engine, the new model offers almost 7.0m of reach and a 3,000kg lift capacity.

In common with all other Merlo TurboFarmer models, the 30.7 features the Eco Power Drive managed hydrostatic drive with a maximum speed of 40km/hr, as well as powerful load-sensing, flow-sharing powerful hydraulics as standard, giving the operator the ability to make simultaneous multiple boom movements at once, optimising performance when mucking out or loading bales.

Fitted with a full-size Merlo ROPS and FOPS cab, Merlo offers two additional cab specifications as an alternative to the standard unit. The L model offers a reduced overall height of just 1.98m, and for those looking for increased comfort the patented Merlo hydraulic Cab Suspension is available as an option for standard models.

The patented Merlo ASCS safety system provides the added benefit of automatic attachment recognition when used with genuine Merlo attachments. The addition of the optional 10.1-inch monitor in the cab offers the operator complete control of hydraulic oil flow rate and working parameter adjustments, while a live digital load chart is displayed for maximum safety.
