New features and design refinements incorporated into the four 2023 Case IH Vestrum CVXDrive tractors further enhance the models’ performance, functionality, comfort and driving experience.

Highlights include enhanced CVXDrive transmission, the latest AFS Pro 700 Plus display, up to four full electrohydraulic rear valves, wet clutch front PTO, and improved fit and finish. All Vestrum CVXDrive models are powered by fuel-efficient NEF 4.4-litre, four-cylinder Stage V engines rated from 100hp to 130hp, but that develop up to 140hp.

Providing excellent efficiency and versatility, the CVXDrive transmission incorporates two mechanical ranges and enables infinite adjustment of forward speed up to 40km/hr, while its ECO function allows this to be achieved at 1,700rpm to minimise fuel use. Linked to the tractor’s Automatic Productivity Management (APM) system that enables the operator to set the desired operating speed while it takes care of everything else, the transmission provides optimum performance and has an Active Hold feature for additional safety.

On Vestrum CVXDrive models, transmission operation has been enhanced with additional “clever” CVT operating features. In response to customer research, driving characteristics have been improved to maximise shuttle and acceleration/deceleration response, while drive pedal sensitivity has been refined, sensitivity and position detection of the Multicontroller enhanced and cruise control pedal override incorporated.

An option to improve productivity even further are up to four electrohydraulic remote outlets for the most demanding tasks.

The new four-pillar cab has been made even more productive and enjoyable to use. It’s suspended for maximum comfort, with numerous external and internal improvements.
Inside, operators will appreciate the excellent all-round visibility and premium quality trim, with improved fit and finish around the headliner and pillars, covers for the gas struts supporting the door and rear window, plus self-cancelling indicators. The automotive-like experience is enhanced by the convenient A-post display with integrated mirror and cool storage compartment that are now standard on all versions, not to mention the optional Case IH leather steering wheel.

The new cab features the AFS Pro 700 Plus control module that incorporates a 35 per cent larger high-resolution, tablet-style glass screen that’s coated to resist glare and fingerprints. With 15gb of storage, it has a quick-start menu, operates faster, provides multi-tasking capability to optimise productivity and can accommodate up to four camera inputs. It can be mounted either on the MultiController armrest or optional monitor rail that incorporates an integrated wiring harness and two USB sockets to power tablets and mobile ‘phones.

New options include a monitor rail with integrated harness guide and two USB sockets. For farmers with implements that use tablets for machine control via an app, a RAM mount tablet and/or mobile phone holder kit is also available.

On the outside, new entry steps offer easier, safer access and the redesigned front wiper, previously only available with the panorama low roof, covers 65 per cent more screen area and is available on all versions. There’s also a new integrated foldable LED beacon holder and a new LED side/position lights that increase visibility.

The Vestrum CVXDrive was the first Case IH model in this power sector to combine the company’s CVXDrive transmission with Automatic Productivity Management (APM) for maximum efficiency and performance. Aimed at medium-sized dairy and arable enterprises, the tractor’s transmission and 4.5m turning circle make it ideal for front loader work, PTO tasks, light tillage and transport duties.
