New Holland Agriculture and local dealer Ernest Doe & Sons have announced a new partnership with Chelmsford City Racecourse.

This has seen the CNH Industrial brand supply two new T6.180 tractors that will develop a substantial presence at the racecourse. Both tractors were supplied through local New Holland dealer Ernest Doe & Sons’ Braintree depot.

“New Holland Agriculture is delighted to become a principal partner of Chelmsford City Racecourse, the UK’s newest horse racing venue,” the brand’s UK & Republic of Ireland business director, Pat Smith, said. “We look forward to supporting the racecourse through this partnership, which we feel creates an excellent synergy between both enterprises, given the location of our Basildon, Essex tractor plant.”

The CNH Industrial site produces T6 and T7 tractors, and is part of the fabric of the Essex agricultural landscape, proudly producing home-grown tractors for customers locally and around the globe for nearly 60 years.

Chelmsford City Racecourse’s two tractors include a T6.180 DCT in New Holland’s heritage blue/white livery – celebrating 100 years of tractors from Ford – that the racecourse owns, and another normal-coloured T6.180 DCT that’ll be changed each year for the next three years under the partnership agreement.
