Anyone who wants to fasten pig equipment to a floor knows that slat anchors are required. In the past, positioning these has always required special tools such as levers or brackets, making the entire procedure quite complicated.
Now, however, Germany’s Big Dutchman has introduced a new slat anchor concept that can be inserted and positioned without any special tools. Launched at EuroTier 2018, it has a clever design that means it’s easy to slide the anchor into the right position. The securing screw and washer can then be tightened without problem.
Losing the anchor through the slats’ apertures during assembly isn’t possible, so the design reduces the risk of damage to the slurry system, and it is also more gentle on the slats.
