Swedish company Ivarssons has launched its new Metsjö TP3 Box transport trailer, a 9m long unit with a hydraulically openable side. The new unit simplifies logistics in industrial and agricultural companies in need of covered transport and a quick fastening of the goods.
The TP3 Box has its own hydraulic unit, which allows the trailer’s functions, such as the opening of the side, to be used without any tractor connection. The is 2.55m wide and has an internal height of 2,97m, giving it a cubic capacity of 68 cubic metres.
The TP3 Box’s axles communicate with each other to distribute the load weight optimally. The trailer also has front- and rear-axle steering, which helps provide smooth and stable driving even in tough turns.
The loading height on the TP3 Box is 98cm when fitted with 455/40R22.5 wheels. The off-road payload is a maximum 27,500kg, with a gross trailer weight of 34,500kg.
“With the TP3 Box, we’re building one of the largest covered transport wagons that can handle very high load weights,” says Anders Ivarsson. “The trailer has good handling, and we’ve sold it both to industries that are in need of quickly covered transport and farmers that need to be able to transport their products in a covered environment, such as vegetable growers.”
