Expansion continues at Amazone UK

Newly employed at Amazone UK are (from left): Bobby Brown, Louise Skinner and Josh Patrick.

In a continuing commitment to British agriculture, Amazone Ltd has appointed three new members to its field team.

Louise Skinner joins the company in anew role as dealer development and key account specialist. In this role, she will work closely with the existing dealer network to coordinate their needs in terms of training, service, parts and sales to ensure that the Amazone product range is being properly supported locally as well as, where necessary, to develop new dealers in areas where there’s a need to provide dealer coverage. Louise will also be liaising with key end users to make sure that they get the best out of their Amazone kit.

Louise has been involved in the agricultural engineering world via a family dealership, before spending some years with New Holland as product specialist support organising events, training and shows. She also enjoying a successful career in the equine world, an area in which she is still very much involved today as a hobby.

Barry Brown, meanwhile, joins the field service team as territory area service manager for the Borders and Scotland. Born and brought up on the family farm, since completing his apprenticeship in land-based agricultural service engineering and qualifying from Oatridge College, Barry has worked as a front line service technician in the dealer network, including some years with Henderson Grass Machinery, where he was responsible for the technical support of the Amazone product range in the Lothian region. This in-depth, existing knowledge of the Amazone range will make for a smooth transition into his new role within the Amazone family.

Finally, Josh Patrick joins the field service team in the West Midlands and Wales as territory area service engineer. After graduating from both Leeds and Sheffield Hallam Universities, Josh’s background has seen him involved in both automotive and agricultural engineering. He spent his formative years within JCB as a design and development apprentice engineer responsible for the introduction of a variety of agricultural and construction attachments. When not in the field with Amazone, Josh can be found either restoring classic cars or surfing!
