Turney Group, a family-run business with more than 60 years’ experience in the agricultural, horticultural and arboricultural industries, and one of the leading specialist machinery dealers in the Midlands and Home Counties, is joining Bombardier Recreational Products’ (BRP) UK off-road dealership network.
This new partnership will see the business take on Can-Am’s utility and recreational all terrain (ATV) and side-by-side vehicle (SSV) ranges as part of its ongoing investment in its product portfolio, enabling the dealership to offer a wider variety of vehicles to consumers in the region.
The agreement will enable Turney to expand the sales opportunities by providing users with access to a wide range of vehicles that are suitable for use in a variety of industries, terrains and recreational pursuits.
All BRP’s units are manufactured to a very high standard from the Rotax engines that power the vehicles to the innovative designs that improve the handling, comfort and ease of use when out on the trailer or towing or hauling goods and equipment.
“We are always looking to add experienced companies to our dealership network, so to be able to bring Turney Group into the Can-Am family is a real coup,” BRP’s commercial and network development manager for the UK and Ireland, Paul Wood, said. “Having Jeremy Turney and his team onboard will allow us to increase awareness of the Can-Am brand to users both regionally and locally by highlighting to users the benefits of what tough, versatile, economical and comfortable workhorse vehicles can offer them.”
Mr Turney added: “We’ve seen Can-Am at several shows we attended and have heard some very good reports from people we work with about them. The brand has a lot of potential and we believe it can be an asset to our business in the short, medium and long term because we know what these vehicles are capable of doing and how they can potentially assist our customers.”

ATV line-up
The Can-Am Outlander combines power, reliability and handling to offer a workhorse ATV that can handle multiple terrains and situations with ease. The Outlander Pro range has been designed by BRP to combine the efficient performance of the Can-Am Outlander with the power of a Rotax engine, offering a vehicle that can handle the rigours of any situation put in front of it. The ATV is available with the single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 450 or the new 570 V-Twin engine, which has been designed by Rotax engineers to offer the rider excellent torque and power when travelling up the side of hills or towing and hauling cargo on the flat.
The Can-Am DS has been engineered to provide young riders with their first steps into ATV riding, and the Can-Am Renegade has been designed for sports performance and handling to allow users to push the boundaries when riding out on trails.
The Can-Am Outlander 6×6 is based on BRP’s Generation 2 chassis and features class-leading performance with its reliable Rotax V-Twin engine. Double TTI rear suspension provides precision engineered handling and the Tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) allows the Outlander 6X6 to set new standards in the segment by reaching previously impassable destinations.
SSV offering
The new tough and capable Can-Am Traxter Utility SSV, meanwhile, has been designed from the ground up to establish new standards in terms of torque, power and versatility for users.
