Bobcat: New telescopic loaders to launch at Sima 2017

Bobcat will have three new telescopic loaders on display at Sima 2017, including the new TL30.60 Agri compact model from the company’s new range of telescopic loaders for the agricultural market, all fitted with Bobcat engines that conform with the Stage IV emissions standard.

There are five models in this new range, with maximum lifting capacities between 2.6t and 3.8t and lifting heights of between 6m and 7m. They’re all designed and manufactured in France at the Bobcat factory at Pontchâteau, Loire Atlantique.

The Bobcat Agri versions of these models come with a range of additional equipment, providing greater comfort and productivity to meet the majority of agricultural sector requirements.

The new range also comes with the same three-year/3,000-hour manufacturer warranty that’s been offered as standard since 2016.

The Bobcat D34 Stage IV engine was specially developed and manufactured internally to handle agricultural use of telescopic loaders. This results in optimised performance and design:

  • three power outputs using the same engine model: 75, 100 and 130hp
  • maximum torque of 500Nm available from 1,400rpm
  • high-pressure, common-rail engine technology, meaning there’s no need for a diesel particulate filter
  • the 100hp and 130hp versions include SCR with the AdBlue tank in the engine compartment
  • compact engine with optimised arrangement of components for easier access and maintenance
  • steeply sloping front and rear body, increasing visibility for the driver

New TL30.60 Agri model
The new TL30.60 Agri compact model has a design that’s optimised for agricultural use.

There are four configurations to cope with height restrictions in agricultural buildings:

  • 2.10m with low cab position and 20-inch tyres
  • 2.18m with low cab position and 24-inch tyres
  • 2.25m with standard cab position and 20-inch tyres
  • 2.33m with standard cab position and 24-inch tyres

There are two engine power outputs. The 75hp version has a reduced weight of 5,300kg offers a high-performance and economical machine. The fuel consumption is reduced by 15 per cent and the engine technology doesn’t require an SCR system or AdBlue.

With this 100hp engine, however, the TL30.60 Agri has additional power, providing greater traction and travel speed. It’s also approved for towing up to 17t on the road (trailer brake comes as standard on the Agri version).

Bobcat’s product range will expand significantly in the next 12 months with the arrival of eight new models that will reinforce and support the agricultural sector development strategy, as well as activity at the dedicated factory at Pontchâteau.
