Clifford Agri seeks Anderson dealers

New dealers are being sought to distribute and support the range of bale trailers, wrappers and chopper/spreaders made by the Quebec, Canada-based Anderson Group.

This follows the range’s successful launch by new importer D Clifford & Sons, of East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. The company received many enquiries about the machines at the Midlands Machinery Show and at Lamma 2017.

“We have already secured our first sale – of a TRB trailer – from Lamma, and have more than  50 good enquiries to follow up,” John Clifford said. “We’re looking to set up a network of dealers to cover the whole country to distribute, service and support the machines.”

The full range includes two types of bale trailer that can pick up bales on the move, so reducing the time and labour taken to complete the job, as well as minimising the likelyhood of causing compaction.

Andersons’ StackPro can handle all major types of square bale and leave them stacked up to eight bales high, while the TRB can collect up to 20 round bales and leave them in a neat rows.

The company’s In-Line Wrapper enables forage to be wrapped in tubes, so its feed value is optimised.

Straw can be distributed the full width of livestock pens with the award winning Pro-Chop 150 (pictured above), or chopped to specific lengths for bedding down cubicles, or down to one inch lengths for feeding :

“We’ve already used the ProChop to cut both silage and straw into short lengths to load it into feeder wagons or into feed troughs,” Mr Cliford added. “We’ve enquiries from all points between Aberdeenshire and Devon, and would be happy to discuss working with dealers right across the country.”

Andersons Group also makes a range of biomass and forestry vehicles, including the Bio-Baler that can bale coppiced trees and scrub.
