Toucan Farm Machinery Ltd, the sole importer of the Monosem range of precision seed drills, is now operating from expanded, specially built premises at Parker Drive, Fakenham, Norfolk.
The new facility enables the company to offer full in-house assembly and service facilities, combined with an expanded spare parts stock, plus a venue for dealer and customer training.
The MD of Toucan, Steve Twist, said the move would enable the company to offer a higher level of product support to its dealers, and ultimately also to existing and new customers.
“All Monosem precision drills are custom-built to individual customer specifications, and so – in conjunction with the Monosem factory – we can now also provide that specialist in-house assembly.
“The expanded parts store will also allow us to hold a greater stock of wearing and consumable parts, along with any critical downtime items, while still allowing our dealers and customers to contact us at any time and arrange collection if desired. Non-stock items can still be supplied over-night direct from the Monosem factory at Largeasse, France.
“We’re also excited to now be able to stage training sessions at the premises, both for our customers and dealer staff.”
