Hardi: New lift-mounted Mega series launched

Hardi’s new Mega is a three-point linkage-mounted sprayer that follows a completely new design concept. In the development process, it was important to build a big a tank capacity as possible, and also focus on a good centre of gravity close to the tractor. On the Mega this goal is reached by utilising the space between sprayer and tractor cabin for the rinse tank.

The Mega will be available with the vertically folded PRO VP booms from 20m to 28m in length. The booms are constructed in steel with a lattice design optimising weight with the greatest possible strength. The boom has been redesigned with focus on strength and reliability. An anti-yaw device is incorporated into the boom centre to minimise any movement of the boom. The excellent performance of the VP boom ensures precision spray applications even in the most challenging of field conditions.

A new heavy-duty boom lift with an adjusting range of 160cm allows a fast and accurate adjustment of the working height. All boom functions can be electro-hydraulically operated; the functions used in the field can be controlled by the well-known Hardi Grip.

Hardi’s Mega sprayer is a brand new design.

The biggest polyethylene tank of the Mega has a nominal volume of 2,200 litres, which brings the sprayer in a class of its own. The new Mega fluid system is designed for manual, remote or automatic control. It comes with front tank compatibility built-in.

In the spraying position the fluid system is completely covered, while for filling with the cover open, there’s a safety locker and work table integrated in the door.

Large side covers keeps everything clean, so no mud from big tractor wheels will disturb the functionality.
