Tenmat and Spaldings announce exclusive UK partnership for Ferobide

Specialist metals manufacturer Tenmat and Spaldings have announced that aftermarket sales of Ferobide tungsten weldable wear tiles will be made exclusively through Spaldings into the UK agricultural market.

“The combination of this revolutionary wear material and the sales expertise of the Spaldings organisation will ensure that  Ferobide sales transform the UK agricultural market within a short time period,” Tenmat’s business development director, Rupert Coggon, said.

Spaldings’ head of product development, Nigel Whelan, said tungsten carbide tiles had long been seen as the benchmark for wear resistant materials.

“Ferobide now allows the farmer to weld the tiles to suit their own needs,” he added. “It is set to change agricultural wearing parts industry, putting control into the farmers’ hands; this fits with the Spaldings philosophy of constantly offering the farmer the latest and best materials for reducing his costs.”

Spaldings and Tenmat will be exhibiting Ferobide tiles and their applications on Stand 476 in Hall 4 at Lamma 2016.
