Leading loader manufacturer Schäffer has launched the 9660T that further extends the capabilities of its range of pivot steer telehandlers. The 9660T combines the all-round view and traction force of a standard wheel loader with the lifting height and reach of a telescopic loader.
The 9660T has a tipping load of 4,700kg, an operating weight of 11,000kg and a maximum lifting height of 6.1m.
UK sales manager Paul Gower expects the 9660T to meet the needs of large scale livestock farmers.
“We have delivered our first machine to a farm near Crewe,” he said, “and we’re also in discussion with contractors and operators of biogas plants.”
The 9660T incorporates Schäffer’s dual clutch transmission, combining double-clutch transmission with hydrostatic drive for the first time. The result is higher traction force in a drive that is comfortable and easy to handle.
