Time at the wheel of any agricultural vehicle can become more enjoyable as a result of Clarion’s latest, state-of-the-art, digital audio (DAB) radio/CD player, that’s packed with practical features at an affordable price.
While digital audio continues to gain favour among vehicle manufacturers, mobile entertainment specialist Clarion has enabled those missing out on this latest technology to enjoy on the move the benefits of the far greater choice of digital broadcasting programmes (including firm favourites Radio 5 Live, Talksport and 5 Sports Extra), with the launch of the Clarion CZ505E.
The high-spec dashboard wizard was designed and engineered by Clarion in the UK as a direct slot-in replacement for all single DIN dashboard head units, and is ideally suited to all agricultural vehicles.
Not only does it allow access to all digital audio stations but also switches automatically to the full array of conventional FM broadcasts. And there’s more besides; the new unit also houses an integral CD/MP3 player, and arguably the most widely used feature aside from DAB will be the front-mounted USB and mini-jack ports, enabling instant plug and play of music libraries on iPod, iPhone and Android mobiles.
This Clarion newcomer is also equipped with built-in Bluetooth, enabling instant wireless access to the mobile’s phonebook and hands-free conversation in the cab, with Bluetooth-enabled mobiles. The same feature also allows wireless streaming of music libraries from the phone as an alternative to a wired connection via the ports on the unit.
Excellent sound quality is matched with plenty of volume from the 4x45w output, and a 4-channel RCA connection is provided for adding an external Clarion power amplifier for those really wanting to be noticed.
