Key agriculture machinery manufacturers have started to mount Mitas Premium tyres as a substitute for Continental-branded tyres. As Mitas previously announced, its new Premium tyres are replacing all Continental-branded tyres (which Mitas produces under licence) on new machinery produced by original equipment manufacturers from January 2015.
Agricultural tyres included in the Mitas Premium product line are designed for high-horsepower machines and, among others, include Very High Flexion tyres, HC 1000 and HC 2000, and Super Flexion Tyre.
“Manufacturers such as Agco, Claas, Case IH, John Deere, New Holland and Same Deutz-Fahr have endorsed the launch of Mitas Premium and are already starting to mount them on their newly produced agriculture machinery,” Mitas’ marketing and sales manager, Andrew Mabin. “We’re proud of these endorsements and are committed to meeting the highest expectations of our partners.”
The company’s strategy is to build equity in a single brand, namely Mitas. The Premium tyres bear the same premium quality and technical specifications as Continental tyres, and Mitas has been producing Continental-branded tyres under licence since 2004.
The Mitas Premium tyre line consists of rebranded Continental tyres and new products developed solely under the Mitas brand.
