Based about 50km North-west of Zaragoza in Spain, Picursa is a company dedicated mainly to the manufacture of mulchers, mowers and brush cutters for the agricultural and forestry industries. Experience accumulated during more than 25 years has allowed the company to also develop other agricultural equipment such as straw choppers, and straw and chaff spreaders.
The company is now offering its products in the UK, including the TA series mulcher (above and below).
This has been specially designed to shred all types of crops, grass, low scrub and branches of up to 12cm in diameter. Boasting low power absorption, its 300mm diameter rotor provides excellent shredding at high speeds.
Roller or wheels are fitted for height adjustment, and it’s available with a hydraulic or manually controlled hinged hood. Solid and sturdily built for uniform shredding, the TA series mulchers are made in working widths of 2.6m to 3.2m and require between 80hp to 160hp.
The range also includes the T-FC-FL Brush Cutter that’s been specially designed for agricultural use in brush and scrubland clearance, and the creation and maintenance of pastures.
Designed for use with tractors from 40hp to 110hp and with working widths of between 1.2m and 2.0m, the TA-FC-FL is equipped with a high-quality speed increasing gearbox and special 16mm diameter GR-8 (carbon alloy steel) anti-wear chains. Skid runners are fitted for height adjustment.
For larger working widths, the company offers the dual-rotor TFC-F2 Brush Cutter.
Designed for use with tractors from 100hp to 200hp and with working widths of between 2.2m and 3.0m, it’s also equipped with high-quality speed increasing gearboxes and 16mm diameter GR-8 (carbon alloy steel) anti-wear chains. Skid runners are again used for height adjustment.
