Joskin: Updated Scariflex grassland aerators

Belgian manufacturer Joskin has updated its range of Scariflex aerators. These machines had already proven the working efficiency of the aggressive flexible tines that act as a rake on the grass in order to remove moss, dead grass and other foreign bodies.

The scarifying effect is even greater on the brand new Scariflex R6S5 and R6S6 models. The R6S5 replaces the row of narrow blades of the well-known Scariflex R5S by a fifth row of flexible tines. Its aim is to further boost the meadows with a total spacing between the tines of 30 cm.

The R6S6 model, meanwhile, only has flexible tines that are distributed across six rows with a total spacing of only 25cm. Through their vibrating effect, they provide a mechanical weeding effect that’s highly prized in organic farming and low-input systems.

The latest Joskin Scariflex models are available with working widths of up to 9.6m.

The Scariflex features a strong structure. Its strong frame is hinged on thick rectangular tubes and large profiles.
