Grimme UK has appointed a new Premium Partner to support its customers in the South-east of England.
Previously a Grimme Partner, Tuckwells, has now been awarded a higher status, enabling it to sell the full range of Grimme products and spares, and undertake servicing.
The appointment will increase Grimme UK’s presence in the region and ensure growers in the South-east receive the best possible support and back-up.
‘We’re very pleased with how Tuckwells has worked with users of Grimme machinery and us over the years,” Grimme UK’s managing director, Patrick Graf Grote, said. “They’ve gone over and above what’s required and expected as a Grimme Partner, which is why we have awarded them Premium Partner status.
“Tuckwells will offer our full range, spanning potato, sugar beet and vegetable machinery alongside servicing and spare parts across Suffolk, Essex and Kent.”
Established in 1954, Tuckwells is a family-run agricultural dealer providing quality machinery to customers across Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, London, Kent and East Sussex. The company has worked with Grimme UK since 1993.
As a Grimme Premium Partner, the dealership will offer the full range of Grimme products and spares and undertake servicing, with Tuckwell’s team already receiving full product training from Grimme’s technical team.
Managing director James Tuckwell said the firm had been selling agricultural machinery for more than 65 years and looking after people was at the heart of our business.
“Today, we employ more than 300 staff, operate across 10 locations in the East of England, represent a portfolio of industry-leading brands and specialise in the sale, service, parts supply and technology solutions for agricultural and turf machinery,” he added.
“We’re delighted that Grimme UK has recognised and rewarded our focus on providing the best possible service to our customers. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with them as a Premium Partner.”
In addition to Tuckwells, Grimme UK’s Premium Partners include Hambleys, Len Evans, Ben Burgess, Malpas Tractors, CC Powell and Lloyd Ltd.
