Fendt has announced a new partnership with Arwel’s Agri Services, based near Lampeter, Wales.
The family-run business, established in 2008 by husband and wife Arwel Evans and Georgina Cornock-Evans, will service South-west Wales, primarily covering Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
“We’ve always seen Fendt as a premium brand with tractors that are a good fit for the farming industry we have here in Wales,” Mr Evans said. “This is why a partnership with Fendt felt like the right move for us. Since our appointment as a Fendt dealer, the level of interest shown in Fendt tractors has been both welcoming and positive.”
Arwel’s Agri also offers Krone, MDE, TSG Slurry Equipment, Cross Tankers and Stewart Trailers. While traditionally a livestock area with a focus on grassland management, the Fendt franchise will make the business more competitive in supplying tractors to mixed and arable farms.
“We wanted to further the business by competing with the wide variety of brands in the area, and working with Fendt will help us achieve this,” Mr Evans added. “Our staff are all very excited and positive, and has been very supportive of our decision to work with Fendt.”
The dealership will offer a wide range of Fendt equipment including 200, 300, 500, 700 and 900 series tractors. Mr Evans said he believes that the Fendt eight-year warranty will be a significant advantage to farmers, and he sees after-sales service as the top priority for the business.
“We’ve built a business from scratch that is customer focused and we’re eager to welcome the opportunity to represent the Fendt brand,” he added.” We’re confident the move will give our customers the quality product and service packages they need to farm more efficiently.”
