Czech tractor brand Zetor has extended its range of Compax models, giving customers more choice with power outputs from 18hp to 37hp.
The new CL20 (18.5hp), CL26 (24hp) and CL26 Plus (24hp) tractors join the existing mechanical gearbox CL25 (25.3hp), CL35 (34.2hp) and CL40 (36.9hp) and the equivalent hydrostatic models, HT25, HT30 and HT40.
Available to order from Zetor dealers now, the new models are said to be versatile and compact machines that are easy to operate and have a robust design that guarantees high reliability.
The tractors meet Stage V emissions regulations with a 0.9-litre diesel engine for the Compax CL20 and a 1.3-litre power unit for the Compax CL26 and CL26 Plus. The CL20 and CL26 have a six-forward/two-reverse mechanical transmission, while the CL26 Plus has eight-forward and two-reverse ratios.
The three newcomers are being produced in partnership with Indian tractor manufacturer VST Tillers Tractors. The collaboration between the two companies is now in its third year, and this latest development follows on from the launch of new 45hp and 50hp VST Zetor models for the Indian market late in 2022.
The original Compax range was introduced in 2020, expanding Zetor’s offering in the lower-power segment of the compact tractor market. They quickly become popular with customers thanks to their low running costs, sufficient power and wide range of applications.
“When expanding the Compax range, we based the new tractors primarily on the experience and wishes of our customers so they meet their current requirements in the workplace,” Zetor’s director of sales and marketing, Petr Konštacký, said. “The newly extended model range now offers a wide choice of machines for both professional and hobby users.”
The new Compax models made their debut at AGROmashEXPO in Hungary in January 2023, and Zetor is planning to present them at other exhibitions in the Czech Republic and further afield.”
