Tom Godwin has been appointed agricultural sales manager at Continental UK.
From a farming background and with extensive experience of farm tyres, Mr Godwin will hit the ground running, working with dealers and manufacturers throughout the UK and Ireland.
His appointment was welcomed by the brand’s general sales manager for commercial specialty tyres, Rebecca Shedden.
“Tom has a wealth of experience with agricultural tyres that will help Continental, our dealers, and customers,” she said. “He’s joining a dedicated team that’s launched seven new lines of tractor, combine and telehandler tyres in the past five years. We’re all excited to have him on board.”
Mr Godwin recognises the challenge of the new role, but also sees extensive opportunities.
“I’m excited to be working with Rebecca and the Continental team,” he said. “I’ll be strengthening Continental’s dealer relations, working with OEMs and visiting customers to make Continental the go-to brand for agriculture.
“I also want to offer more training on how tyres can bring benefits to all operators.”
