French manufacturer Rousseau has announced a new range of wide bat-wing shredders. The 4.6m Icare 460 is the first model from the new offering and it will launch in autumn 2022, while a 6.2m model will be added in 2023.

The Icare shredders feature four tandem axles allow optimal ground following, even in dips. It claims advantages in terms of maintenance, comfort and safety, including: a smooth platform to avoid the accumulation of residues; oscillating tandem axles; damping employing silent blocks on each axle; eight-ply 27×8.5-15 tyres; LED lights; and hydraulic cutting height adjustment.
