AgVantage UK has announced a partnership with specialist trailer maker Dezeure. The firm will import products directly from the leading Belgian manufacturer to supply UK-based customers.
AgVantage, already home to the full line of Dewulf, Miedema and Dammann brands, said it was excited to welcome this latest development. The move will see the firm become an authorised distributor of the full Dezeure product range, offering sales, product knowledge and customer service to both new and existing customers.
Dezeure was founded in 1947 and has been producing specialist trailers and tankers since 1970. Still a privately owned company, the third generation of the family took over in 2015 – maintaining its roots and ethos was, of course, of upmost importance. Earlier this year saw the opening of its new purpose-built 15,000 square metre factory designed to keep up with an ever-rising product demand. Dezeure currently produces about 250 units each year.
AgVantage founder and managing director, Andy Carse, said that although the Dezeure brand wasn’t very well known yet in the UK, across Europe and the rest of the world it had an excellent reputation for build quality and reliability.
“Dezeure machinery fits perfectly with my vision, to work with high-end specialist manufacturers offering efficient and reliable equipment that provide low ownership costs, something which I feel is becoming more and more important by the day,” he added. “The opportunity to offer the Dezeure products to growers in the UK is an exciting prospect and I’m very much looking forward to the partnership.”
Dezeure’s Siel Himpens said he believed there were many progressive farmers in the UK and therefore it was an important market for the brand.
“We were looking for a specialist dealer to import our products, not a traditional dealer selling many different products,” he added. “We needed someone that can give us focus and the attention we need, in sales and after sales; a dynamic company.
“After several discussions with Andy and a trip to AgVantage, it quickly became clear that it’s the right partners for us to work with, and we’re looking forward to a successful cooperation.”
