The Amazone Group has strengthened its development cooperation with the Dutch autonomous tractor maker AgXeed by taking a financial interest in the business.
With this intensification of what’s already a successful cooperation, Amazone becomes a strategic partner of the start-up company that already includes Claas among its investors. The aim of the partnership is to further develop Amazone mounted implements with regard to their autonomous use in the field.
An important basis for the cooperation is the commitment to generate accessible interfaces to ensure comprehensive compatibility and connectivity between the machine and the towing vehicle, thus achieving maximum benefit for both parties. The focus is on the customer and their specific application and it should enable those customers, through this partnership between AgXeed, Claas and Amazone to find the best solution on the market.
The autonomous platforms from AgXeed are an ideal match for the Amazone product range. The combination of minimal ground pressure, optimised weight distribution and flexible mounting zones open new possibilities for independently constructing intelligent solutions for arable farming.
Various sensor systems will constantly monitor and analyse the work done and it’s this optimised process and the quality of work that’s the focus when considering the autonomous team. The safety challenges of this technology can be mastered particularly well through the different levels of experience within AgXeed, Claas and Amazone.
For the farmer, farm manager or end-user, the use of autonomous management systems ultimately means more time is freed to enable better agronomic and strategic management of the farming business.
