Krampe’s halfpipe HP30 trailer celebrates two anniversaries during 2022. The first marks 20 years since the trailer was introduced to the market, while it’s also 10 years since the introduction of steering on the front and rear of the trailer’s three axles.
The three-axle earth-moving tipper is used on sites throughout Europe and the halfpipe HP30 can be optionally equipped with hydraulic running gear with a Tridec three-point linkage. The front and rear axles are then equipped with forced steering to aid manouverability.
The trailer’s chassis is particularly narrow in design, therefore allowing sufficient space for large steering angles. The trailer can maintain a width of 2.55m while running on soil-friendly 600mm wide tyres.
The steering axles also ensure optimal operation and stability on uneven terrain thanks to the hydraulic axle compensation. The running gear is maintenance-free, the heavy rubber silentblocks are extremely robust.
Tritronik automatic height regulation is also optionally available. In addition to the regulation of the driving level, it’s possible to automatically position the trailer horizontally during tipping by means of the electronic bubble level.
