New Holland has announced a reconfiguration of its dealerships in Scotland, with Lothian Tractors leaving the network.
Lloyd Ltd’s territory expands to take in Mid and East Lothian, and the company will move into Lothian Tractors’ former depot at Tranent for an initial period, with a view to locating to a larger facility in the area in the near future. Staff have been offered employment with Lloyds.
Lloyds will also continue to operate its existing two Scottish New Holland depots at Kelso and Dumfries.
Bryson Tractors, meanwhile, will expand its territory into West Lothian and Ayrshire. In addition to its Lanark depot, subject to completion of contracts the firm will take ownership of the current Agricar depot at Dundonald providing customers in the area continuity of service. Many of the staff in the depot will move to Bryson Tractors to further enhance this continuity.
Agricar, meanwhile, will continue to offer the full range of New Holland products and parts from its existing depots in Forfar, Stirling, Perth, Laurencekirk and Blairgowrie, and will open a new depot in the Fife area in the near future.
Ravenhill Ltd, based in Elgin, will continue to cover the North of Scotland.
New Holland’s business director for the UK, Pat Smith, said he was delighted these three companies with a long trading history had each expanded to enhance the brand’s coverage in Scotland.
