Farmers now have access to more localised precision farming support with the appointment of two new Trimble resellers. The new dealerships join Vantage England and Wales, SoilEssentials and Mastenbroek as approved Trimble Authorised Resellers.
SymAgri is covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex, while Manterra is catering for farmers in Northern England.
Farmers will have a wide portfolio of products to choose from, including display screens, assisted and autopilot steering, as well as implements control and data management. Being brand agnostic, all of these systems will work with any brand of tractor or machine, and customers will also have access to professional help and support.
“It’s the ethos of SymAgri to provide independent advice to ensure our customers receive the right precision technology solution for them, with support coming from a team of experienced trained Trimble Engineers,” director Chris Tew said.
In the North, Manterra has specialised in precision agriculture for more than a decade.
“The team at Manterra is delighted to have been appointed as a Trimble reseller,” managing director Andrew Manfield said “This will enable us to offer the best possible support, service and advice to customers who require precision farming services.
“We are focused on support and service in precision agriculture, and we recognise that for most operators this is the level of backup they need in what can appear to be a slightly daunting and complex area of technology.”
Both resellers will be providing a comprehensive service based on Trimble’s precision agriculture range, from consultation to installation and support.
