Dairy Spares has further extended its range of calf feeding equipment in the UK with the introduction of the Milk Bar Euro Bucket. This holds up to nine litres of milk and is semi-transparent so the milk level can easily be seen from a distance.
Originally designed for the European marketplace, where hutch-rearing is very popular, the Euro Bucket is supplied with its own bracket and can be fixed to either the inside or outside of the pen.
Additionally, and a practice favoured by European farmers, the Euro Bucket can be fitted with a lid to keep out rain and prevent contamination.
As with all Milk Bar products, the Euro Bucket comes with a Milk Bar teat that ensures calves suckle not guzzle. To make the rationing of milk easy, a litre scale is clearly marked on the outside of the bucket.
The cost of the nine-litre Milk Bar Euro Bucket is £18 and the lid is £4 (prices correct at October 2020).
