This Valentine’s Day, seed and grain specialist Cope Seeds is launching a new, high-performing pink pea variety.
Panther not only represents an innovative product, with a strong consumer market demand, it’s a consistent high-yielding pea with premium potential.
“The Panther spring pea is a pink pea that’s early to mature, with good standing ability,” Cope Seeds director Gemma Clarke said. “Its unique pink colour remains even after cooking, which presents great human consumption market potential.”
Treated yield comparison data shows it to perform better than established market leader Prophet, with long straw and good standing ability.
