Gibbons Agricultural reports that it has supplied record numbers of its Plug&Cool Pedestals to farmers all across the UK and Europe for this harvest.
Having worked with cereal growers for decades, Gibbons has listened to its customers to gain an understanding of what type of products they need at harvest time. One of the main problems farmers typically face with other Pedestals is that they aren’t durable or strong enough to withstand being knocked around when grain is loaded into the barn.
With 50 years of engineering experience behind them, Gibbons knew it could produce a pedestal that would withstand the environment it was made for. Its Plug&Cool Pedestal, which was launched at the 2019 Sima Show in Paris, is manufactured to the very highest standards and constructed from two types of twin-wall, food grade polymer for excellent durability.
Since the Pedestals are manufactured to last, they all come with a unique, dual-adaptor sleeve, that allows users to connect different sizes of fan over the years.
So many Plug&Cool Pedestals have been Sold by Gibbons Agricultural that the company has had to re-stock before the end of the harvest.
For farmers who already have their grain in the barn, Gibbons also offers its Airspears for fast and easy elimination of hotspots. In a style popular across Europe, the company also sells the Airspear MAX for when the urgent cooling is required. The MAX edition harnesses the full power of a 1.1kW grain fan.
With extra-long, adjustable handles, all of Gibbons’ Airspears are easy to move around in grain piles as required, and don’t need an adaptor. Plus, the fans come with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
