Lemken: Juwel 7M brings bigger working width

Lemken is extending its Juwel 7M plough series by adding an economical six-furrow model. This mounted plough features a hydraulic UniTurn reversing mechanism with mechanical tilt adjustment. Its short rotation axle (120mm diameter) ensures precise and safe reversing of the plough.

With a frame diameter of 120mm, the six-furrow Juwel is designed for medium-sized tractors with 100-200hp. The mechanical mechanism allows four working widths to be set, while the hydraulic MV version allows continuously variable adjustment. The pitch is adjusted via a cap nut and stop; this adjustment is made separately for each side. The cap nuts are easy to handle and protect threads against dirt to ensure that adjustment remains consistently easy.

The standard equipment includes the proven Dural bodies. DuraMaxx plough bodies are available as an option. DuraMaxx slats and mouldboards are made of special wear-resistant tool steel without drill or punch holes – a Lemken innovation that delivers a 150 per cent longer service life. As DuraMaxx bodies are not screwed to the base body, but clipped on, they’re quick to replace and can be fully utilised as wearing material.

Continuously variable hydraulic width adjustment is possible with the Juwel 7MV.

The Juwel 7M is available with skimmers, which can be adjusted without tools, and various pendulum or uni depth control wheels. The damper cylinders, which form part of the standard equipment, ensure smooth transition of the depth wheel, which provides precise depth control without the need of a control chain.

The six-furrow Juwel 7M and MV will be available from 2019.
