Imants unveiled its new all-rounder spade cultivator, the 58 series, at Agritechnica 2017.
The new machine, which has been specially developed for light and medium clay soils, is a high-output cultivator that can be customised for various operational conditions.
A variety of technologies have been introduced for the first time with the new 58 series, which makes the spader even more efficient. These include a bilateral single chain drive and dynamic control of the operational speed.
Spading machines are increasingly gaining ground throughout European agriculture . They follow the principle of digging over, where the soil is mixed, aerated and loosened. As a result, soil is intensively tilled without its structure being compromised.
Imants also revealed a new tool carrier design, which will be available for the 58 series, at the Hanover event.
