Claas outlet Manns has signed a franchise agreement with Stewart Trailers that it says will benefit its farming and contracting customers in East Anglia. Under the arrangement, Manns will provide sales, service and support for the company’s complete trailer range from its branches covering the area.
“We have been looking for a trailer franchise to complement our existing product range, and we’re very pleased to be able to offer a quality engineered range to our customers,” Manns’ franchise manager, Chris Chilvers, said. “We’re looking forward to working with Stewart Trailers to increase the number of their iconic blue trailers in our region.”
Stewart is widely recognised as a premium brand and as such is a good fit with the existing Manns business. The trailers are built to a high standard, and live up to their marketing tag line of Bigger Stronger Tougher.
Stewart’s comprehensive range includes tipping trailers, dumper trailers, flat trailers, livestock containers and low loaders. All Stewart Trailers’ products are manufactured to order, so the customer can specify which of the wide selection of optional extra items they want.
In addition to the standard GX range, Stewart also produces a range of trailers built with Hardox wear plate. The company has been a licensed Hardox manufacturer since 2013, allowing it to display the distinctive Hardox in my Body logo on its PRO Series trailers. The flagship of the Stewart tipping trailer range is the Road King, a three-axle trailer running on air suspension.
Stewart Trailers operates from a modern manufacturing facility in Aberdeenshire and was established in 1988 by husband and wife team James and Mandy Stewart.
