Founded in 1999, Malone Farm Machinery, of County Mayo, Ireland, manufactures a wide range of agricultural products. The company’s sales have been increasing in the UK thanks to new product launches, and further expansion is planned.
Malone is now the top-selling mounted mower manufacturer and brand in Ireland, and the company currently manufactures more than 700 mowers annually to meet demand for its home and export markets. All Malone machines are designed, built and tested in Ireland before launch.
Demand for its newly developed Tedd-Air range has exceeded expectations. As market conditions and manufacturer mergers continue, Malone believes that its range, especially the tedder with hook-tines, can fill a gap in the market.
Models available include a four-rotor 5.7m wide macbhine and a six-rotor 8.4m umnit. The Tedd-Air has a robust design, well suited to tough terrain and working conditions. It follows the contours of the ground closely, with an excellent, consistent and even spread, ensuring a quality wilt.
Tedd-Air Features:
- Malone’s houble-hook tine design ensures greater grass movement/ground following, greater grass flow and even spread combined with far less soil contamination than competitor machines.
- Four-rotor and six-rotor models available.
- Malone’s unique Closed Circuit Hydraulic Stabilisation reduces movement and swing when tedding as well as a return-to-centre feature when lifting/turning on headlands and hills.
- Full mechanical headland management.
- Three-position height adjustment.
- Super-flotation system allows tedder to follow ground contours closely.
- Comes complete with spare wheel and light kit.
